CAPACITY BUILDING
Awareness: Lack of access to fundamental elementary education among the Sahariya community has caused hurdles in disseminating information and knowledge. Sankalp wants to remove this bottleneck and make Sahariya aware of their developmental needs and community aspirations.
Education: Sankalp believes education is the critical lever of change for marginalised communities like Sahariya. Education centric activities have been the core strength of Sankalp community work. We have focused on increasing youth and women’s employability and livelihood capacity in the Baran district, Rajasthan.
Capacity Building: Sankalp is committed to the holistic development of the Sahariya community. The Organisation aims at working along with the parameters of United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, and it is collaborating with educational and other institutions and agencies to further its objectives. Hence, Sankalp is working across many themes for the upliftment of the Sahariya community of Rajasthan.
